Creswick holds a significant place in Australian history as a former gold-mining town, nestled between the vibrant cities of Ballarat and Daylesford. Surrounded by lush pine and eucalyptus plantations, which were initially established when the Victorian School of Forestry opened in 1910, the town boasts a serene and picturesque atmosphere.
Strolling along the streets of Creswick, you will encounter a multitude of well-preserved historic buildings that serve as a testament to the town's gold mining heritage. The post office, built in 1862, the former town hall from 1876, and the former Bank of NSW dating back to 1861 are just a few examples. Additionally, the charming bandstand at the corner of Albert Street and Raglan Street, standing since 1897, adds a touch of nostalgia to the town's ambiance.

Reviews
"Better than nothing, good plce can park caravan"
"Absolutely spotless clean, one of the neatest public toilets I've ever been to. Just a quick stop to check out the park across the road but still spotless"
"Very friendly and helpful people."
"I visited the public toilets here. They were disgustingly filthy. I understand that it's not the visitor information centres responsibility but council could do more. Cleaned more regularly. Other country towns leave Hepburn Shire for dead"
"Great information centre. Friendly. Wealth of knowledge of local area including the Adam Lindsay Gordon trail and local mining sites including Australia biggest gold mining disaster on the outskirts of Creswick. Lots of brochures of local attractions and places to stay and many of other Victorian areas. Parking out back and opposite supermarket for supplies. Public toilets (clean) next door and small picnic park out front."
