This day allows our teachers to focus on writing Semester 1 reports. Families in need of care for their children can avail the services of Their Care, which will be operational on this day. We are delighted to announce that our 2023 Fruit Tree Drive is back! Under the "Forms" section on our website, you can find the order form for a wide range of bare-rooted fruit trees, as well as citrus and potted trees. Take your pick and place your orders by Wednesday, 7th June.

As part of Education Week, prospective families for the year 2024 are invited to visit our school and experience our vibrant classrooms and excellent facilities. We have scheduled open tours on the 16th and 18th of May, from 9:00-10:00 am. For alternative tour timings, please contact our school office.

Our popular Brekky Club is back! Students can come to school early every Tuesday morning, from 8:30-8:55 am, and enjoy a nutritious breakfast with their friends. The Brekky Club operates from our canteen, ensuring a delightful start to the day.

We are thrilled to host our Welcome Back evening for our school community on Tuesday, 21st February. Families are invited to tour our open classrooms and then come together for a family picnic, fostering a strong sense of community and connection.

As we embark on the 2023 school year, we kindly request students to bring their essentials to school. This includes a Sunsmart Hat (clearly named), a healthy snack, lunch, recess snack, a clearly named drink bottle, and the school uniform (please ensure all items are clearly named).

Our Leap Into Learning transition program will take place in Term 4, providing our 2024 Prep students with five sessions to familiarize themselves with our school and prepare for the upcoming year.

In 2022, Lockwood PS is proud to participate in The Resilience Project schools program, emphasizing the importance of mental well-being and resilience. Every Monday, all students engage in The Resilience Project's online wellbeing curriculum in our classrooms.

To streamline the ordering and payment process, we have introduced QKR, a user-friendly app for parents to conveniently order and pay for school lunch, special lunch days, and uniform orders.
