"Started off with a friendly welcome from a nice waiter but that was all. No coffee available. The lamb Ragu was the worst I have ever seen it was a horrible grey colour and cold. AND the waitress that served us did not even make eye contact dropped the food on our table and when I asked her to reheat my Ragu it still came back lukewarm. No apologies whatsoever. Waitress may have been having a bad day but if she could not be even a little civil she would have been staying at home. The cafe does not have a drink licence yet. Overall not a great experience. Gave it a two star as the waitress lowered the atmosphere."

"Honestly .. the best Butter Chicken I have ever had. A great cafe to have something to eat or just a coffee. My 8 year old son ate all his Crispy Chips as they were so crispy !!!! Lovely busy atmosphere and the staff all friendly and invested in making your experience worthwhile. We will be back."

"Surprised and disappointed to have had such a poor first time experience here. It's a beautiful space that looks out onto a park. We were told it was table service, then we were left alone for so long we thought they'd forgotten us. Finally someone came and said 'so we've taken your order...?', which they hadn't. We placed our order, then later were told some treats were unavailable so we chose substitutes. Our treats arrived but no drinks. Again, waited a long time and thought we'd been forgotten, and we could see one waiting staff clearing tables, and the other one having a long conversation with what seemed to be a local patron. We asked about the drinks and got a curt response. When we went to pay we were overcharged, then were told the order had been entered differently (by another staff) to what we expected (intended order was part of a somewhat confusing 'package deal'). I understand this place re-opened last August, which seems long enough to work out how to manage busy times. They seemed under-staffed on the day we visited, but an alert and friendly approach from the staff would have helped. Perhaps for the cafe's sake and the gallery's sake the managers might take a look at how service is being delivered. However, the gallery itself is always a pleasure to visit and while we may pass up the cafe in future, we'll continue to visit the gallery."
