"I lost my wallet (credit card) while we had a car hired from Hertz Darwin Airport. When we rang to extend the hire the lady told me that because we wanted to use a different card they would have to charge us the whole amount twice. When I questioned her about this, she talked to me like I was a child. We had no choice but to make the hour and a half long trip to drop the car off and take a taxi back."
"DO NOT USE HERTZ. There was an issue with payment and instead of trying to resolve it, the clownish lady on the phone said they were just "the little people" and it wasn't their job. "Guys Becarfull, I put the car in Darwin airport parking and put back keys in HERTZ box after exact time in rent finishing time, after 2 days someone called me and claimed you kept the car 1 day more and HERTZ will charge you 1 day more. I told him it is easy to check the car GPS and the Parking CCTV to find out when I brought back the car. He reply we don't have time to argue with you, close the phone and took my 200$."
