"My wedding is 4 months away. The Brisbane stores told me they need at least 9 months notice for them to order a new dress - I had to pick off the rack. After this disappointment we booked at Wedding World and we had such a great experience. They had a beautiful range of dresses, and I was able to order my dream dress, customised to suit my needs. Sarah our stylist, was amazing! I highly recommend this store!"

"Not impressed at all with the range of sizing. They tried to fit me into size 10 dresses when I'm a 14. I had chosen a few dresses that I loved from the website, but couldn't try them on as they only had them in size 8. The staff were not very interested in helping and really tried to rush me to get in and get out. The air conditioning wasn't working so I was sweating. Make sure you take in your own water as they didn't have any on hand. I'm not comfortable paying over $2K for a dress that I can't even try on properly."

"Similar to a previous review, I am a size 12 so pretty average I would have thought.... my 90 minute appointment took 25 minutes after it was made clear most dresses wouldn't fit me and was offered no alternatives other than "oh...really it doesnt fit". Or "I can make it fit you" and then couldn't get dresses over my knees, offered no support in trying dresses on with no guidance on what might fit my body type or the style of my wedding. Complete waste of time"

"I visited wedding world, and to say the least I was not impressed. Coming from the country to the city to find my dream dress I heard nothing but amazing things regarding wedding world and had my heart set on this shop, spontaneously we visited without a booking, but the lady was ok with letting us in for a quick fitting, at first we were thankful and excited, as the fitting went on I felt extremely uncomfortable and judged I did not feel like a bride but was made to feel like I did not belong in the shop, I am a plus’s size girl but in no way out of there size range throughout the fitting I was given dresses that were extremely over sized and I was not made to feel comfortable, I have always been confident with my body but as my first time trying on wedding dresses I was made to feel as if I didn’t belong in the dresses, the lady that helped was distant and offered no Suport or regards for my opinion instead I was given dresses I did not like and styles that were extremely over sized, the staff member continued to offer excuses and side notes about rushed orders and prices as if she did not want to sell us a dress. I agree we should have booked but this is no excuse to treat people that way. They have beautiful gowns and amazing designers but the staff were terrible. Do not recommend"

"Very highly recommended. Wedding World turned out to be the only place I needed to go to find my perfect dress, and Leona is such a professional! She really knows her stuff and was able to make me feel comfortable, listen to my concerns, preferences etc and helped me find my perfect gown right away. Thank you so much for all of your help, especially with my family so far away and unable to be a part of the process. X"
