Welcome to New Horizons Club, located at 292-294 Invermay Road, Mowbray Heights, Tasmania. As a grassroots organization, we greatly appreciate the support and generosity of our community, which enables us to offer a wide range of programs and opportunities.

If you are a sports enthusiast and would like to make a difference by volunteering with New Horizons, we encourage you to join us. By getting active, having fun, and meeting new friends, you not only improve your own health and well-being but also empower individuals with disabilities.

Since 1986, New Horizons Tasmania has been providing sport, recreational, and social opportunities for local people with disabilities. Our dynamic programs play a significant role in building inclusive communities throughout Tasmania. Whether you want to explore new activities at your own pace, expand your social circle, or even pursue an elite sporting pathway, New Horizons can help you experience the numerous benefits of an active lifestyle.

Membership is open to individuals with any disability, including intellectual, physical, spectrum disorders, anxiety disorders, and more, from the age of 5 and up, as well as their families. To learn more about joining our club, please click here.

At New Horizons Tasmania, we firmly believe that leading a healthy, active life and having access to sports and recreation should not be a luxury limited to a select few. We strive to provide every Tasmanian with the opportunity to participate, be included, and enhance their physical and overall well-being. By setting goals, staying active, and making lifelong friendships, our members thrive.

We collaborate with local, state, and national sporting bodies, as well as the government, to offer the finest inclusive sport and recreation programs and pathways for Tasmanians with disabilities. While we acknowledge the presence of disabilities, we focus on abilities and embrace new and dynamic activities tailored to each individual's pace. From these experiences, greatness emerges.
