"We chose a Sauna from SHYM Saunas and Spas, and are very happy with our choice. We picked the square model, for its looks as much as practicality (two-tiered seating, plenty of head height). The quality is outstanding, and we had very good support from Art, who helped with advice during the construction. With a bit of family support, we succeeded in assembling the sauna without any major problems. Pretty much on a daily basis, we now enjoy a sauna session. The sauna is now located on the east coast of Tasmania and the acrylic dome is ideal for enjoying the view. The wood heater is easy to use and really warms it up. The construction is very solid and well engineered. We like the entrance area which is very convenient. Art and friend did a great job constructing it for us and setting up. "I bought a wood heater and flue kit from Shym Saunas and Hottubs. The heater is made in China, with no clear brand. It has external feed, which means it has an extension that pokes through the wall, so you can feed it from outside. There are benefits to this set-up, including more oxygen for your sauna experience. The heater starts easily, burns nicely, and heats quickly. It’s easily exceeded my expectations. I love it! The door to the heater is a little flimsy, but once I got use to it - I’m happy. The flue kit was made for a barrel sauna. It was a bit too short my my build, so I bought a separate flue kit and put it on the outside of the kit supplied. It all works nicely and meets my needs. Art was easy to deal with. He’s responded promptly to all of my questions, and is passionate about sauna life. I’m very happy and would recommend Shym’s to my friends. Get a sauna! It’s become a part of our daily lives. It adds a wonderful, relaxing, and satisfying dimension to life. You’ll love it too."
