Welcome to Hagley Farm Primary School, located in the charming town of Hagley, Australia. Situated just 20 minutes west of Launceston, our school is nestled in the beautiful Meander Valley, offering a picturesque and peaceful learning environment.

Established in 1855, Hagley Farm School has a rich history deeply rooted in the Northern Midlands community. We take great pride in our heritage while also embracing the advancements of 21st century education.

Our institution is comprised of three unique elements that set us apart. Firstly, we have a primary school with a student body of 360 children, providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Secondly, we boast a commercial farm spread across 68 hectares, offering hands-on agricultural learning experiences for our students. Lastly, our Field Studies (Visitor) Centre focuses on farm-related activities and welcomes up to 6000 students and adults each year, enhancing their understanding of agriculture and the natural world.

As a member of the Prospect Cluster, which includes Prospect High and Summerdale Primary Schools, we foster strong relationships and collaboration to enhance reading engagement and higher-order reading strategies. We also work closely with Prospect High School to ensure a smooth transition for our students into their secondary education.
