Welcome to South Launceston Early Learning, located at 50 Glen Dhu Street in South Launceston, Australia. Our full-service childcare centre is dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for children aged six weeks to six years.

At South Launceston Early Learning, we believe in the power of play and the importance of connecting with nature. Our owners and designers, who affectionately call themselves The Biggest Kids in Australia, have created a centre that encourages children to interact with their natural surroundings and learn to entertain themselves. We understand the value of balancing play with fundamental learning outcomes, as this is essential for children's development and prepares them for school and for life.

In today's digital age, children often spend too much time learning from programs and screens, which can hinder their imagination and prevent them from experiencing the simple joys of life. Remember the days when you would spend hours outdoors, digging in the garden, feeding farm animals, or exploring the creek for tadpoles? We aim to bring back those moments of "real play" at South Launceston Early Learning.

Our dedicated educators provide a range of positive experiences and create super-fun environments that allow kids to just be kids while also challenging their minds. Shoes are optional, and getting dirty is encouraged at our centre – we want to bring back their Wildhood!

Research has shown that diverse, natural, and challenging spaces help children develop their creativity, imagination, and positive relationships with others. This builds confidence, improves language and collaboration skills, and promotes physical activity, which in turn reduces the likelihood of overweight, illness, and stress.
