At the Law Society NT, we strive to provide valuable resources and support to our members. Recently, we have been actively engaged in discussions regarding the upcoming referendum on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice in the Australian Constitution. Our Council has been considering the policy position that the Law Society should adopt, if any, in relation to this proposal.

To further assist our members, we would like to draw your attention to the Guide and Fact sheets on the referendum, which have been produced by the Law Council of Australia (LCA). These resources provide comprehensive information and insights into the legal profession's role in this significant constitutional issue.

In addition to our ongoing advocacy work, we also offer professional development opportunities. We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a free CPD (Continuing Professional Development) session on Ethics Refresher, Common Issues, and a Disastrous Case Study. This session aims to enhance your ethical understanding and address common challenges faced by legal professionals.
