Reviews
"Cold bacon and undercooked hash browns and I asked for hollandaise sauce on the side and the waitress forgot then I asked where it was and I got mayo instead because the waitress doesn't speak English very well and didn't know the difference. Coffee was okay but food took 25mins for full breakfast and smashed avo."
"Coffee was fine but I waited half an hour for avocado toast. They didn’t even remember or realise I was waiting until I went up and asked about it. I will never set foot in here again."
"I rarely leave bad reviews for businesses but this Cafe requires lots of improvements. After placing my order the girl at the cashier said to me take number 2 for your table, instead of handing me the number herself. There were around 15 table numbers there and I had to look to find number 2. It took 45 mins for my husband’s breakfast to be ready and an hour for my breakfast. His breakfast was cold, as it was sitting on the bench for 10 minutes, sour dough burnt and the girl brought the beans 5 mins after, stating Sorry I forgot to give you this. The girl offered my husband fresh bread but he refused as he had to go somewhere. My husband finished his food while I was waiting for my breakfast (Pancakes) to arrive. Pancakes were cold, very thin, with chunks of bananas between the two layers. The plates weren’t appetising at all! I have never had such this experience anywhere in Toowoomba."
"Old mate was too busy talking to a female friend and leaving everything to the young girl to do. The young lady was Serving new clients and making coffees etc for those who had already ordered and was really quite flustered. 25 minutes for two coffees and a piece of cake was not that customer friendly."
"I know this place only recently opened up so we decided to pop into Clifford Gardens for a cake and coffee. The place is nice and bright as well as very open. As you would expect the area was very clean and tidy and although not extremely busy wad very well frequented. There are quite a good few options for food and drinks and at reasonable prices. We both ordered our coffee's with a slice Baclava. The slice was brought out very quickly (with a very nice scoop of ice cream) and was very nice. The coffee came a little while later, this along with the fact that we didn't have a meal i only gave 4 stars. We will return in a month or so for a proper meal and see how we go."
