"Last night I picked up a takeaway Fried Rice on my home from Brisbane. I was charged $16.77. The container was the smallest of the takeaway containers. Not the bigger sized container I have had and expect from other restaurants. It was chicken and I had 2 pieces of chicken in the dish. It is rice for F’s sake. A small container for over $16 is not good business. The only other ingredient the rice contained was broccoli. The price of $16.77 is quite odd in itself. Sorry Southtown Thai I won’t be back. The rice was nice by the way."

"I've been eating here for almost 10 years. Chicken cashew nut with coconut rice has often been my go to. Since I became aware of the change of owner I have ordered food from here 4 times. Each time has been worse than the last but tonight has led me to write a review. This meal has always tasted the same. Tonight, it was tasteless. It was like eating mush with a bland sauce. The coconut rice tasted like it was cooked some time ago and reheated with normal rice mixed in. The vegetables were tasteless as if they were cut some time ago, frozen and reheated. The chicken was no better. The sauce has changed or at least it had on this occasion. Nothing tasted fresh or of high quality. The staff here are always welcoming. I have seen in the past few months that there are less of them and it seems the culture and morale of the place has deteriorated. At first the staff looked like they were trying their best to keep up the same standards of service with less staff, now they just look exhausted. I don't know if I will be back after tonight, which is a shame after all these years. The online menu/ordering system is a good improvement, perhaps with more people using it you can invest in some more staff to help in fresh kitchen preparation (if you are currently getting staff to cook ahead of time). Hopefully things return back how they were."

"Absolutely disgusting food. Actually that’s being nice.. There aren’t word”s for how bad our food was. Coconut rice was normal rice.. also tasted like it had been cooked a few days earlier and reheated before giving to us.. cold and dry.. rest of our food was watery and tasteless.. Our poor dog wouldn’t even finish the left overs and went back to his dried biscuits. If you were like us and used to think this place was great.. don’t bother now.. go and find a new favourite Thai place."

"Service is very good, prompt & the server was polite. Today I had the lunch special of sweet n sour pork with coconut rice. It was a very generous serving. Very nice."

"I‘ve been a loyal guest for far over a decade. The food is consistently good, seating is nice and everything usually works well. Lunch deals are pretty decent size."
