"We booked a medium SUV several months ago for a two week visit to Port Douglas and the Atherton Tablelands. We were advised well before the booking that we had been upgraded to a Kia Sportage. The pickup is a short Uber trip from the airport ($16). Others from our group were still waiting for a shuttle bus to their rental companies when we were well on our way to Port Douglas. The car was very clean and in good condition. Pickup was out of office hours but very easy and efficient. I thoroughly recommend this locally owned business if you require a rental car in Cairns."
"We arrived in Cairns in June and had tried to book a car rental through Qantas but there was nothing available so we tried a Google search and found the prices of the most popular or well known places were outrageously priced. Nearly gave up then I found Right Price car rentals, the price was great and the car was fantastic. We hired a Mitsubishi ASX which was great with a dog sometimes coming along. The service was really professional and I will certainly use them again when we come back next year from WA minus the dog."

Despite being closed on weekends and after hours, AND being a short taxi ride away from Cairns Airport, pick up & return was well explained and organised with key collection and drop off. As we were collecting after hours we used the self service pick up box which was a great idea with easy to follow instructions. Bond was returned promptly. My wife left her glasses in the car and they kindly posted them to us in Brisbane - not a service youre likely to get with the bigger firms. Very easy pick-up and drop off too. You'll need to get there by taxi, but that's simple to do from the airport or town."
