"I adored this sweet tea house. I had the most delicious iced yuzu tea. The lady working there was delightful and visiting again would be first on my list if I’m ever back in Kuranda."
"Great place for an iced tea. We had the soy pudding and was delicious ! Nice relaxed atmosphere, we loved it !"
"I visited Kuranda village 3 days during my 9 day trip to Cairns to dine at this Japanese teahouse! Absolutely in love with their soy pudding with roasted green tea syrup (limited daily quantity). The texture was silky smooth, creamy yet light on the palate. The soy pudding tasted similar to the one that I had in Osaka and it was elevated and well complimented by the slightly bitter and fragrant roasted green tea syrup. Also had their sweet potato cheesecake, which was rich and creamy with a caramelly cookie base. Their teas are exquisite - delicate, floral and sweet. They sell traditional Japanese teas and unique tea blends with Australian native ingredients such as eucalyptus and lemon myrtle. The owners are super friendly, gave us a free taster for the teas. Their original green tea with mango was a very pleasant surprise with high quality dried fruit added to the tea. I bought some tea to brew at home too. I really hope they will visit Sydney this year!"
"Amazing the flavour they are able to capture into the teas. A wonderfully magically place suspended on the hill overlooking the wood. They also sell tea for cooking at home. We tried the hibiscus and premium matcha cold teas."
