Welcome to Sprout Music, located at 36 Kathleen Crescent in Woonona, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we pride ourselves on offering tailored performance lessons supported by strong theory.

Our preschool music program is specifically designed for children aged 2 to 5 years old. Led by our qualified music teacher, Melissa Sommerville (B.Mus/B.Ed UNSW), this program serves as a fantastic introduction to the world of music. Through songs, rhymes, musical games, movement, classical music, stories, playing instruments, and basic rhythmic notation, your child will explore the five concepts of music. With small class sizes capped at seven children, we ensure individual attention and a nurturing environment. Each 30-minute class is priced at $12.

For beginners from Kindergarten to Year 2, we offer a comprehensive 12-month introductory course. Melissa Sommerville (B.Mus/B.Ed UNSW) leads these classes, where each child is provided with their own Yamaha full-size digital piano featuring hammer weighted keys. In addition to piano instruction, we use a variety of melodic and non-melodic percussion instruments to introduce children to musical concepts, including notation. These 45-minute classes have a maximum of four children and are priced at $20 per session. To help you make an informed decision, we offer a free trial lesson to all new students.
