Our founder, Tony, has been passionate about Hang Gliding since 1981 when he first started following in the footsteps of his older brother. He became a certified Hang Gliding Instructor in 1985, teaching eager students on weekends and holidays. Recognizing the numerous advantages of powered Hang Gliding, Tony began combining flying Hang Gliders with powered Hang gliders, commonly known as Trikes or Microlights. This led to a surge in demand for Trike instruction, prompting Tony to secure a lease for a large hangar at Benalla Airport in Victoria.

With up to 22 Trikes housed in the hangar, our full-time training and flying facility in Benalla has become a hub for Microlight flying in Australia. Tony's expertise and dedication have earned him a Microlight Instructor Certificate in 1991, and he has since progressed to become the Chief Flying Instructor and ultimately a Pilot Examiner in 1996. With over 20 years of experience, Tony has trained countless individuals and accumulated thousands of hours of flight and training experience. His exceptional skills and contributions to the sport have gained recognition, often being featured in popular national and international flight magazines and travel experience television programs.

Now residing in Stanwell Park, just a stone's throw away from the historical dwelling and workplace of flight pioneer Lawrence Hargrave, Tony can enjoy Hang Gliding and Triking in one of the most picturesque and flight-friendly locations in Australia. Our Trike flights and training sessions are conducted from Albion Park Airport, conveniently located just an hour's drive south of Sydney's CBD.
