Reviews
"Interesting spot with a great story. View from the top is spectacular. Stairs are easy low timber, not as difficult as I expected but the height could be an issue if you struggle with that. Great little tea room at the end though with amazing scones!"
"Definitely worth the climb to the top. 318 steps I’m told and the view is outstanding. Never knew that was how shot was produced."
"Awesome! Great lookout, souvenirs and cafe! Climbed the tower for a gorgeous view. Only problem is you can’t see the car park when heading northwest as u come to the corner and it’s just on the left which makes it hard to turn in unless u know the area well! Still worth the stop!"
"The Shot Tower is a good spot to stop when touring. Take in the magnificent views from the top (for a modest fee). There are lots of stairs but the view is well worth the effort."
"Nice small historic tower in Taroona. You pay a few bucks if you want to climb to the top. From the top of the tower, you can get a magnificent view of all blue and green. There are some small windows too so you can see part of the beautiful landscape along the steps. Should go there on a nice weather day to get the best views. There are a vintage style cafe and a souvenir shop at the lower levels. Staff was nice and friendly."
