The friendly and approachable Principal and teachers truly care about the students, even outside of school hours. They take the time to engage with them in the community and during weekends in Hobart.

St James offers a broad curriculum, including elective subjects like Advanced Mathematics, as well as a comprehensive Pathways Program that helps students make informed decisions about their future careers and higher education choices. Our students have the opportunity to visit Guilford Young College and Saint Aloysius Catholic College to get a glimpse of what Years 11 and 12 will look like for them.

Currently, all four of our children attend St James Catholic College, and each one is thriving in their own way. Our eldest is preparing for her transition into Year 11 and 12 at Guilford Young College, supported by the college every step of the way. Our two sons in Years One and Five are excelling academically and enjoying the modern technology in their classrooms, as well as the garden and kitchen facilities. And our youngest, who started Kindergarten this year, has been warmly welcomed into the college community, with the necessary preparations and adjustments made to ensure her full inclusion.
