Welcome to the Theatre Council of Tasmania, located at 71 Murray Street in Hobart, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to promoting and celebrating the vibrant theatre scene in Tasmania.

One of our exciting initiatives is the Tasmanian Theatre Awards, which will be held in 2024. If you are a member organization of the TCT, you have the opportunity to register your upcoming show for assessment in one of our three categories: Professional Theatre, Community Theatre, or Musical Theatre. This is a fantastic chance to showcase your talent and gain recognition for your outstanding productions.

To ensure fairness and expertise in the judging process, we are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced and qualified individuals all over Tasmania. If you have a passion for theatre and would like to be part of our judging panels for the Tasmanian Theatre Awards from 2024 onwards, we encourage you to submit your expression of interest. The deadline for submissions is September 9, 2023.
