"I have suffered the complete and total incompetence of the Administration of Barwon Medical Imaging for years. Lost referrals, double-booked appointments, spurious charges, and total lack of communication are constant and unending. As one person on the front desk takes over from another, no information is seemingly passed over. While one answer regarding an enquiry might be gained from one person, when a new person arrives it is quite likely that your query will receive a completely different response. The doctors and nurses are fantastic. What a shame that such a completely incompetent administration constantly lets them down."

"The receptionist who is responsible for booking appointments and taking booking related enquires is unbelievably condescending. Anyone contacting BMI is likely doing so begrudgingly because of a medical problem, which is already enough to get them down. As such, a little empathy and a friendlier attitude would go a long way. I was perfectly upbeat and polite on the phone, yet she seemed to determined to speak down to me over normal questions about the booking process. Honestly, just strange, unwarranted behaviour. The signage within the building itself is also hilarious. Basically giving the message that they hate any form of human interaction and to leave them alone. Convenient that there were no community feedback forms available also…"

"The reception staff at Barwon North BMI are friendly and accommodating. One particular female staff member went above and beyond to get in me in for a x-ray right away after she saw I was having issues with the Barwon North Hospital staff and could tell I was ill. Thank you :)"

"This was first time i attended this place but i was annoyed by the receptionist staff as they didn't know how to make an invoices for overseas student. Additionally, because of i am an overseas student and can't have government medicare card instead possess a gold standard Private health insurance though they charged me double of the services i got. Which could not be claimable. I would never recommend this place to any overseas patient as their receptionists are not humble and supportive."

"Had to get a guided lumbar puncture. The staff were phenomenal. Unfortunately my procedure was very difficult as not as straight forward as most. The doctor was patient and explained everything as he went. The two nurses in the room were brilliant. Held my hand, talked me through it, advocated my pain when id just had enough and wanted to break down. The nurses in the recovery area were also great. Attentive and caring staff Allround."
