At Keira High School, we believe in the importance of mental health and well-being. That is why we encourage our students and staff to use ALEC - Ask, Listen, Encourage action - to start meaningful conversations and support each other. We understand that the period before HSC exams can be stressful, and we aim to create a supportive environment for our students and their families during this time.
In addition to academic excellence, we take pride in our achievements in sports. Our Open Boys Football (soccer) team recently made it to the top 4 in the CHS statewide Puma Cup competition, showcasing the talent and dedication of our students.
Education Week is a special time for us, as we join in the annual celebration of NSW public education. It is an opportunity to recognize the achievements of our schools, teachers, and students, and to showcase the incredible work happening within our institution.
We would also like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which Keira High School stands and pay our respects to Elders both past and present. We value and respect the rich Indigenous heritage of Australia and strive to create an inclusive and culturally diverse learning environment.
