Thirroul Railway Institute Hall 14 Railway Parade, Thirroul, New South Wales 2515
About the Business
Welcome to the Thirroul Railway Institute Hall, located at 14 Railway Parade in Thirroul, Australia. Our establishment is a point of interest that holds great historical significance in our town. We are proud to be the home of the Thirroul Railway Institute Preservation Society (TRIPS), a dedicated group of individuals who work tirelessly to preserve and maintain this heritage building.
At the Thirroul Railway Institute Hall, we host a variety of events and activities for our community to enjoy. One of our upcoming events is a working bee on Saturday, June 15th from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. We invite all TRIPS members to join us in completing light and easy tasks to keep our institute looking its best. All necessary gear will be provided. Following the working bee, we will be holding a management committee meeting at 9:00 am, where all TRIPS members are welcome to attend.
We take great pride in our hall chairs, which were recently used during a full house event featuring the Western Flyers band on March 9th. The band, all the way from Texas, loved our hall and our enthusiastic Thirroul audience. They even claimed it was the best show of their Australian tour and are excited to return in the future.
In addition to our events, we are pleased to announce that the repainting of the interior of the institute is now complete. We have also hung up new photos and installed new curtains, giving the hall a fresh and inviting look. We encourage everyone to come and take a look at the new work!
Membership for TRIPS is due, and we greatly appreciate your support. Membership fees remain at $10 per annum, and payments can be remitted to the TRIPS account. We value the support of our members in preserving this important piece of our town's history.
Furthermore, we are excited to present the Western Flyers, one of the most exciting bands in the music scene. Their unique sound combines classic western swing, hot jazz and swing standards, vintage country and cowboy songs, and electrifying old-time fiddle tunes. Don't miss the opportunity to experience their incredible performance.
If you are interested in attending any of our events or becoming a member of TRIPS, please visit our website at [insert website link]. We look forward to welcoming you to the Thirroul Railway Institute Hall, where history comes alive.
