"Extremely disappointed after my pedicure on Wednesday. My skin was cut multiple times and the pedicurist just put water from the foot spa on the bleeding area. Thursday night I had severe pain in both of my big toes around the nail beds. I have had to spend $120 at a podiatrist yesterday (three of my toes are now bandaged) and may potentially have an infection that requires antibiotics :("

"I had my nails done here yesterday after a colleague of mine recommended them. Hang and the team are SO GREAT!!! After having an extremely negative experience at “Charms” in Westfield Geelong, they spent over 40 MINUTES removing the thick layer of acrylic that the other place had done, listened to my requests and did exactly what I asked for. I couldn’t be happier! Even if you don’t live in Armstrong Creek, it’s worth the drive for the attention to detail, excellent service, cleanliness and professionalism of the artisans that work there."

"My friend and I booked in for a mani and pedi. It started out well with the pedi, and I have no complaints about that. But things started to go downhill with one of the staff when she found out that we wanted a different colour on our nails than our toes, and that we wanted some simple nail art (nothing too crazy, but a little something for Halloween). The woman who did my nails seemed to be quite stressed and became rude while doing my nails, so I felt uncomfortable. Ultimately, I do like my nails though so that's lucky, because if I didn't, I sure didn't feel comfortable enough to raise any issues or comments. When my friend sat down to get her nails done, she asked if she could get a simple ombre, or even just one or two nails with some simple nail art, the woman seemed angry and said "you have to wait if you want that, we have lots of people waiting!", so my friend ended up deciding to just get a straight colour and an accent nail with no nail art or ombre, which is not what she was hoping for but it felt as though she had no choice but to get that, lest the woman get more upset. Furthermore, when my friend asked if she was looking at the correct swatch samples when trying to choose her colours, the woman rudely said "hang on, hang on!", instead of just answering her. Another woman came along to do my friend's nails who was much nicer. But still, because of the other woman, my friend didn't get the nails she was originally hoping for. If they were truly too busy to do the nails my friend was hoping for, the woman could've politely let us know and perhaps tried to negotiate a simpler design that wouldn't have taken as long to make sure my friend was happy, rather than allowing her to settle for something she didn't originally want. Perhaps we should've let them know on the phone when booking that that's what we wanted, but we didn't realise that and I think it's the salon's responsibility to consult with us about what we want first rather than assuming. And even if that was the case, the woman could've just been more polite about it rather than making us feel like we were burdensome and annoying for asking. The actual nails, both hands and toes, look nice though and the pedicure in particular was thorough. Although my friend mentioned there was a nail she wasn't really happy with but didn't feel comfortable raising that concern. But yes, just an issue with the attitude of this one particular woman whose name I unfortunately don't know. Turned me off going back again, as I don't want to be treated like a burden when I'm paying for a service I've booked in to get, and my friend got something she wasn't hoping for."
