Our story began in 2015 when Jos, the owner, had a simple idea to transform an old caravan into his first barbershop. This quaint space outside King of Castle quickly became the foundation of something special. Jos cherished the one-on-one interactions with his regular clients and everyone who stepped through the caravan's door for their appointment.

As time passed and the business flourished, Jos envisioned expanding the venture. In 2016, he turned the idea of converting a shipping container into a barbershop into a remarkable reality, maintaining the same great experience and premium quality but with a fresh new look.

With growing demand came the need for more space and barbers to cater to our loyal clientele. Determined to continue their legacy, the team set their sights on finding a suitable shop on Pakington Street. After months of hard work and renovations, they finally crafted the perfect premium experience.

When you walk into our shop for your appointment, you'll be warmly greeted by friends. Feel free to grab a complimentary beer or whiskey, and if you fancy some fun, head outside for a bit of putting practice or play darts. Alternatively, simply relax on the couch and join in on the lively conversations that fill the air of our barbershop.

At The Resident Barber, we take pride not only in providing top-quality haircuts but also in creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for all our clients. We've come a long way and built a strong community around our passion for excellent service and community.

Our opening hours are as follows: Monday – closed, Tuesday – 12pm – 7:30pm (3-3:30pm break), Wednesday – 9am – 7pm (1-2pm break), Thursday – 9am – 7pm (1-2pm break), Friday – 9am – 6pm (1-2pm break), Saturday – 9am – 2pm, Sunday – off.

We offer a range of services at competitive prices. Our Senior Barber services include a haircut for $55 in 30 minutes, a Senior Barber Skin Fade for $60 in 40 minutes, and an Under 18s/Seniors Cut for $50 in 30 minutes. We also provide a Buzz Cut for $35 in 20 minutes, a Beard Trim for $35 in 20 minutes, a Beard Trim with Razor for $50 in 20 minutes, and a Hot Towel Shave for $60 in 30 minutes. For the ultimate experience, try our Haircut, Shave, Whiskey Experience for $130 in 1 hour and 10 minutes. We also have Junior Barber services available.
