"Over the years Wollongong's nightclubs have fizzled out into near non-existence. The once glory days of Grand Wednesdays and Retro Thursdays have been replaced by seedy venues with awful music and even worse staff. Tusk is no exception to this. With its dark interior that is essentially an empty room and a bar, Tusk's attempts to appear as an exclusive, high-class joint (with the overinflated egos and power trips of security guards adding to this) are in vain. The mouldy cherry on top for this excuse of a nightclub is a particular security guard I have had several bad experiences with. Intimidating guests is not a good business move, nor is refusing entry on no solid grounds. I have never gotten her name, but she is a poor employee and highlights everything that is wrong with Tusk. The venue is a waste of space and fails to utilise its prime location. For an enjoyable night, Wollongong's small bars such as Dagwood, Howling Wolf, Uncle Bok's, and beach venues such as Towradgi Beach Hotel and Pepe's are much better suited."

"Would give less stars if I could. My friend was refused entry last night on her 21st birthday by the woman checking ID. The woman claimed she was too intoxicated to enter, my friend had had two drinks the whole night. She was excited, as everyone is on their 21st. Absolutley appauling experience, I will never be a customer at this venue again. Disgusting."

"I was thrown out of this club for no reason, other than your over zealous security guard overcompensating for his inability to use his words as to what I was doing wrong, when I was simply trying to ask my friend what drink he wanted. 2 of your poor excuses for security guards threw me out without even telling me why. This establishment is a joke, and especially in these Covid times, manhandling me without masks or any regard for those around who are at risk of infection is appalling. Absolutely disgusting behaviour displayed. What was trying to be achieved? For me to throw a punch so you'd have an excuse to hit me?"
