Keiraville Community Preschool 36 Gooyong Street, Keiraville, New South Wales 2500
About the Business
Welcome to Keiraville Community Preschool (KCPS), located at 36 Gooyong Street in Keiraville, Australia. As a highly esteemed establishment, KCPS is not just a school, but a point of interest and a valuable asset to our community.
At KCPS, we prioritize providing high-quality, innovative, and inclusive care and education to all children. In fact, we are proud to announce that we have received an EXCEEDING rating in all seven quality areas of the National Quality Standard Framework. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to excellence and our dedication to ensuring that every child receives the best possible education and care.
Since 1952, KCPS has been a not-for-profit preschool, offering family-centered learning experiences in the Illawarra region. We are deeply rooted in our community and strive to create a nurturing and supportive environment for both children and their families.
In these challenging times, we want to assure you that KCPS is a COVID-19 Safe Workplace. However, please note that the ever-changing health advice may result in some information being incorrect as government restrictions are altered. Rest assured, we are doing everything in our power to keep our students, staff, and families safe and healthy.
One of our standout programs is our internationally recognized transition to school program. We understand the importance of preparing children for the next chapter of their educational journey, and our program ensures a smooth and successful transition.
Beyond our exceptional programs, KCPS offers a stimulating learning environment that values and nurtures each child's individual strengths, interests, and unique potential. With ample space for exploration, our preschool accommodates 40 children a day, even though it could hold more than 250. We firmly believe that every child deserves high-quality, inclusive care and education, and we strive to create an environment where imagination and play thrive alongside structured learning.
Don't just take our word for it β hear from our students themselves. Phoebe loved finding feathers and speculates on which birds they came from. Jonah describes the seed pods as "spiky spaceships," and Henri appreciates the beauty of silence and the sounds of nature. Kieran enjoyed the adventure of finding his way through the bush and conquering big hills. These testimonials highlight the magic that happens when children are given the space to explore and learn in their own unique way.
At KCPS, we also pay our respects to the Dharawal people, the traditional owners of the land on which our preschool sits. We acknowledge the historical impact of white settlement and are committed to reconciliation and promoting greater understanding of Aboriginal cultures within our preschool and the wider community.
We are proud to have the active participation and support of our preschool family and the community. When you join KCPS, you become part of our Association, which serves as the custodian of our preschool. We encourage you to visit our friendship tree on your next visit, symbolizing the strong bonds and connections that are formed within our KCPS community.
Thank you for considering Keiraville Community Preschool as your child's educational home. We invite you to explore our website and learn more about the exceptional education and care we provide.

"The best. There is reason that KCPS is so popular. The combination of the highly skilled and caring staff, a great program, and the beautiful bushland setting is unbeatable. We count ourselves very lucky to have had our son attend for a year."
