"Three positive experiences in a row! The food was always delicious, the lovely staff were always kind, service was quick, and the atmosphere was bright. You won't regret starting your day off with a breakfast buffet here."
"I was recommended this place from a friend, The first night I came here it was cooked to perfection I think the chefs name was Nicola he was a Asian guy, I couldn’t fault his steak. Steak was cooked to perfection the salad was well dressed. It was so good I decided to take another friend of mine with my back there to have a steak again. I walked in and when I saw it was a different chef I was a little upset. I even said to the waiter I hope this chef is good s the first one we had because he was amazing! He said this one is the head chef you will be in good hands. I was a little let down I have to be honest. Steak was ok but the side of potato didn’t have as much rosemary as the first time, the side salad wasn’t eatable because it was so salty! The steak was nice but it wasn’t as good as the first chef. I since came back on the Thursday 8th June it was a evening, I brought a different friend with me, she has the risotto, when I saw it was my favourite chef, I asked he recommended from the two steaks. He recommended the sirloin (dry aged). It was good however it didn’t melt in your mouth as much as the eye fillet, was still cooked well had a layer of gristle and fat that hadn’t been rendered down other then that it was a nice meal. The pumpkin risotto was amazing I tried a little bit of my friends. It was so full of flavour very rich and strong cheese flavour. The garlic and Rosemary bread was amazing! We had dessert this time it was mind blowing. I had the tiramisu ricotta that was so different but full of flavour, my friend had the cake with a liquid soft centre that was nice however supper rich. Love this restaurant come try it"
"We stayed at the Movenpick Hotel in November 2022 and Tesoro was a highlight of our stay. All day breakfast (8.30-4) was included in our stay - a main dish, side dish, juice and hot drink. This was more than enough food as the fruit platter pictured was just for one. We also enjoyed the Tesoro set menu which was a very very generous portion, so much that we couldn't finish everything. The chef kindly adapted the menu to dietary requirements (no seafood). The courses in November for us were focaccia, arancini, Caprese salad, proscuitto salad, pea risotto, pork belly and chocolate hazelnut mousse (2 serves)."
"Recently stayed at the Movenpick Hotel & ate at their on site restaurant. Loved that you can order breakfast off the menu rather than buffet & it’s available until 4pm. The food & coffee was very good. Amongst our group we ordered most of the menu. Highlights were the eggs benedict with lobster & the smashed avo. Also had dinner here on our last night & the food was great as was the service."
"Best dinner experience I've had in a long time. Far exceeded our expectations of a little restaurant inside a hotel. The food was exceptional. Every dish was spectacular using fresh produce and balanced flavours. We ordered almost every small dish and enjoyed every single dish. The service was exceptional, our server Abel was friendly, jovial, and knowledgeable about the menu. Andrea the manager was lovely and very accommodating of our last minute reservation. Thank you Tesoro for an excellent and memorable dinner."
