Needing a new pair I had to search the internet for a stockist as all of my usual retailers no longer had this style. The only place I could find it in stock was at this lovely family owned business in NSW…. I am in Adelaide. After ordering the shoes online… yes I got my discount for signing up and free delivery, as the shoes are quite expensive I was really appreciative of both……. I didn’t receive the email confirmation I was expecting. I called the store from Adelaide and spoke to a lovely lady that looked up my order and provided me with the tracking number so I could track it through my App. They arrived 2 days later. It’s great to have good old fashioned customer service and I highly recommend purchasing from this great family owned business. "My husband and I live locally and are very keen to support our local businesses. Recently my husband was in need of a specific brand of walking boot. He knew it was available on line from a Sydney store heavily discounted however wanted to explore local options in support of our local stores. He found just what he wanted on line from the moss vale store and the boots were listed with a 10% discount. Great news, until he drove into town only to be told that the 10% discount didn’t apply if you came into the shop. He found the customer service quite poor and disinterested. How tempting it would have been to do the alternative, walk out the door and order the boots on line from Sydney where the advertised price was over 50% reduced. We don’t mind paying a little bit extra for our local stores however customer service should be the number one priority for these local businesses to be sustainable. Hope this feedback can be seen as helpful to you."
