Welcome to the Wetlands Environmental Education Centre, located at Shortland, Sandgate Road, 412 in Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, our institution is dedicated to providing educational experiences for Kindergarten to Year 12 students. We are proud to be a NSW Department of Education school, offering fieldwork excursions to enhance learning outside of the classroom.

In an exciting development, the Wetlands Environmental Education Centre has joined forces with the Awabakal Environmental Education Centre to form the Awabakal Environmental Education Centre in 2022. This collaboration has resulted in two campuses, namely the Dudley Campus (formerly known as Awabakal EEC) and the Wetlands Campus (formerly known as Wetlands EEC).

Our institution continues to deliver high-quality educational programs in various locations. The Awabakal Environmental Education Centre offers a diverse range of fieldwork programs, catering to students from Early Stage 1 through to Stage 6. Breaking news! We are thrilled to announce that Wet & Wild, our renowned research challenge, has been rescheduled to commence in Week 2 of Term 2, 2020. Wet & Wild provides students with an immersive and hands-on learning experience.

At the Wetlands Environmental Education Centre, we deeply respect and acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land. We also pay our respects to Elders, both past and present, who have cared for this land for generations.
