"Last year my two sons and I discussed options for Martial Arts. I done some research and liked what BBMA Northlakes had to offer so decided to explore it. Am I glad I did.. My first point of contact was with Jason via phone call. From this initial call I sensed the warmth and welcoming appeal offered. Jason offered my boys a free trial lesson to see if Karate was for them and sent me through an email which clearly explained everything, nothing was hidden. After my boys trial lesson Jason took the time to sit down and speak with me to see what we were thinking of BBMA Northlakes. Not once did I feel like I was being pushed into joining. Jason offered my boys a second complimentary trial to be sure we wanted to commit which we accepted then decided to join. Uniforms were provided and fees very reasonable. Unfortunately due to some family circumstances we will be moving a distance away where there isn't yet an established BBMA Dojo. This is absolutely devastating for my boys. I would like to sincerely thank the entire team for their efforts in teaching not just my children but all who attend. Sensei Bec got my boys off to a great start. Senpai Blake has taught strong morals and values to my boys along with a fun yet structured training routine focusing on the true art of Karate. Senpai Oliver has taught my boys how to defend themselves against a larger person if attacked. Thank you for this as unfortunately there are too many sick people who pry on victims smaller then them. Senpai Jason is my eldest boys favourite instructor. He is very enthusiastic with the children and has the ability to motivate the kids to succeed while ensuring his students know how proud of them he is. This approach has been boosting my sons self-confidence to a level I have not seen in some time. Thank you so much. The Sensei comes across as a strong male yet when speaking to him is just lovely. The environment at BBMA Northlakes is very friendly and welcoming almost like a family, not matter how little or how long you have attended. I cannot speak highly enough of the team here and what they do to help shape our young people for their future. I would like to give a special thank you to all of the assistants who make a difference. My youngest son is on the Spectrum and depending on his day at school he may require a little extra encouragement. This is one area the team focus on is making this an all inclusive environment. Thank you again for everything you do here at BBMA. My boys are looking forward to their upcoming Karate Pizza Party/Farewell Party. For any family looking to boost their children's self-confidence and have them exercise while being taught good values and life skills then this is the place to be.
