Welcome to Glendale Early Education Centre Inc, a community-based non-profit organization located in Glendale, Australia. Our center offers early education for children from 6 weeks to school age, providing a nurturing and educational environment for their growth and development.

Established in October 2001, Glendale Early Education Centre Inc. was built and funded by the Lake Macquarie City Council and the Department of Health and Family Services. The management of the center is overseen by the Glendale Early Education Centre Incorporated Parent Management Committee. We operate under the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the Children (Care and Protection) Act 1987, ensuring the highest standards of care and education.

At Glendale Early Education Centre, we strive to offer affordable quality education and child development. Our holistic program is designed to embrace and reflect the Early Years Learning Framework, enhancing the sense of being, belonging, and becoming for all children. We also have an interest-based program that integrates children with additional needs into a high-quality program.

Our center features three individual playrooms and two separate playgrounds, accommodating the different age groups of children. This allows us to cater to Early Learners (0-2 years), Transitional Learners (2-3 ½ years), and Pre-School (3-6 years) children in age-appropriate environments. With a capacity for up to 46 licensed positions, we create a home-like environment for our families while meeting their educational needs.

Each child at Glendale Early Education Centre receives an individualized program that incorporates the Curriculum Framework. We value and encourage parent participation in all our activities. For children aged 0-2, we also provide primary care as part of their daily routine. Parents receive written feedback each day, detailing their child's eating, drinking, and physical care. Our pre-school program focuses on school readiness, working closely with local school teachers.

Our spacious outdoor area offers two play areas with soft fall surfaces, grassed areas, and sandpits. Family groupings are offered for children aged 0-3 in the mornings and afternoons, while the pre-school area challenges older children's gross motor skills with age-appropriate equipment.

At Glendale Early Education Centre, we aim to provide fun, friendship, and education in a loving environment. Our developmentally appropriate educational programs are tailored to meet the individual needs of each child on a daily basis.

We adhere to the National Quality Standard, which sets a new national benchmark for the quality of education and care services. We have detailed Policies and Procedures in place, covering areas such as health and safety, enrollment, financial management, nutrition, programming and documentation, child protection, and staffing. These policies ensure that we meet the highest standards in quality care and education.

We are registered for Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate with the Family Assistance Office, allowing parents to receive appropriate financial assistance for their child's care. We also have an open-door policy, welcoming parents to participate in the daily program and offering an orientation process for new enrolments to familiarize themselves with our center and staff.
