"Very happy with my BushSkinz 4x4 bash plate for my 2002 Pathfinder R50. The item arrived quickly, well packaged and in great condition including the necessary mounting bolts and washers and even a few extras. As you'd expect, the 4 corner bolts (16mm) are way more substantial than the stock ones (10mm) but there is already provision to accept these in the chassis, although with the R50 being older vehicles these threads (M10 x 1.25) will probably need re-tapping to accept the bolts more easily due to rust etc. The 4 corner bolts might be sufficient enough to mount the plate as it's 4mm thick and quite heavy duty, but if you want to utilise the other provided bolts (13mm) you'll have to drill out and tap 2 front centre existing mount holes with 6.5mm drill and M8 x 1.25 tap. I recommend doing this as it pulls the front leading edge in nice and flush and is just more secure. Really glad I purchased this bash plate, now I won't have to repair the stock original "dust cover" after each of my trips off road."

"Just got these two bushskinz alloy plates for my trip to CSR and Kimberley in May and June. Very light weight but solid and perfect fit to my lc79, no drilling required, no modifications required. Will see how they goes in the next two months. During the 42 days trip, they worked very well on corrugated road and desert tracks, my rig also got installed another big brand rear diff lock Actuator Guard that bushskinz doesn’t sell, it only survived 3days on corrugated road due to fatigue on its mounting holes."

"Purchased a set of the aluminium bash plate for my Holden Colorado in January, when fitting the front bash plate there was a 16mm gap and I could not get the supplied or stock bolts to work. Contacted and told them of the problem stating that the description stated that the plates fit all major brands of bullbars. They said they were aware of the potential for the gap to occur and offered a replacement to suit. It been over two months later of me continually asking for updates. Did not even reply to another follow up message I set over a week ago. Great product, piss poor customer service and after sales help, would not recommend."
