"A year ago, I joined after doing taekwondo and was not sure what to expect. I have to admit, I have learnt a lot and thanks to Sifu and everyone there. They welcome me and made me feel part of the family. I would recommend anyone to join and try it out, thanks Sifu and everyone there."
"I am lucky to have found such an excellent Sifu in my home town. Training with Sifu and the excellent longterm members this club attracts has benefit my life in many aspects I love Wing Chun for the mental and physical training it involves, it is not straight road and many of the things you learn at the start are expanded later on but absolutely useful from the get go. There is no set starting point as such and Sifu is excellent at taking you on the journey to jump on at any time with any experience levels I am happy with training at the club and the confidence it has given me has helped avoid altercations without anything else but a calm relaxed stance and look. The training at the club gives me the confidence of pressure testing for when I may ever need resort to force If I had any advice for new members dont underestimate the skills you learn, or what may seem as the basics no need to rush through put in the time to cement the skills. as later you will find that with the techniques and discipline less is indeed more (e.g. master the techniques, repetition, repition) and the weapons forms and dummy and other forms all then begin the circle of training again as you look at the techniques with new understanding and appreciation It is a great style to learn I find in its "effortless" approach and "relax" "softness" overcoming tense which is why it also termed feminine style as it doesn't rely on force against force Come and see for yourself if this is the club for you, Cheer"
"Kung fu school. Small class sizes mean there is always opportunity to ask questions and get advice."
"I have been training at Canberra Wing Chun Academy for more than 12 years, and there are still so many techniques to master. Love to come every week and see many familiar faces, not only to train with but also sharing many aspects in life. Thanks Sifu and everyone."
