About the Business
Welcome to Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect), located at 41 Templeton Street, Cook. We are an establishment and point of interest dedicated to supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and their families.
One of our upcoming events is the ARCAP professional workshop, an online self-compassion program specifically designed for autistic adults. Developed and trialled using participatory methods, this program aims to help therapists, clinicians, and mental health workers assist autistic adults in developing self-compassion skills, regulating emotions, and improving mental health.
In line with the spirit of "Include a Charity Week", we encourage Australians to consider leaving a gift in their Will to Aspect. By doing so, you will make a lasting impact on the lives of people on the autism spectrum. At Aspect, we treat gifts from Wills in a special way, ensuring that all contributions benefit individuals on the autism spectrum for generations to come.
We take pride in our diverse team of professionals, including Teachers, Teacher's Aides, Allied Health professionals, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Community Support Workers, and corporate service professionals. Together, we work towards providing comprehensive support and education to individuals on the autism spectrum.
Autism is often diagnosed at an early age, and we are here to help prepare young children for the next stage of their lives as they become a different kind of brilliant. Our autism-specific education programs are among the largest in the world, and we strive to create the best opportunities during the school years to engage learners for life.
As young people on the autism spectrum grow up, their aspirations and needs change. We offer support and resources to help them find new ways to be a part of their community. Each person on the autism spectrum is a different kind of brilliant®, with their own unique life to lead. Discover how Aspect can assist you in achieving your goals through our wide range of flexible options.
There are numerous ways you can show your support for individuals on the spectrum and their families. Whether it's attending our events, making a donation, or volunteering your time, every contribution makes a difference. Together, we can create a more inclusive and understanding society for everyone.
Thank you for visiting Autism Spectrum Australia. We are here to support you on your journey.
