"I entered the Chemist this afternoon with my young daughter. I knew where around about I needed to look for the item I wanted. I was approached by a worker who asked if I need any help. I told her no thank you. She walked away. Had something to say about me to the other worker behind the counter, so I asked her if she could show me where the worming tablets were. Instead of just pointing she walked me to the aisle, then stood there and watched me as I chose which box of tablets I wanted. They were $6. This worker then proceeded to follow me by walking parallel to me but at the other end of the aisle. I know she was following me because between aisles I paused then when so continued walking saw the worker spin around and go back and check the other aisles for me. I was standing at the checkout by the time she rounded the corner of the last aisle so I told her I won’t be spending my money there and threw the box of tablets at her. I have shopped in this chemist many many many times and not once have I stolen any of your products. I had my school aged daughter with me AND I was carrying my purse which should have been enough to show that I was there to purchase something. I don’t think she thought I was really going to steal anything I think she just wanted me to feel like I wasn’t welcome in your chemist, either because of my skin colour or because I was dressed in baggy clothes. Either way I felt like I was being targeted and if you watch the security tape you will see she was kind of stalking us on the way to the checkout. I believe your worker enjoys partaking in micro aggressions against a First Nations people because of their personal bigoted views or they are lacking in basic human decency and respect. When she showed zero respect for me as a paying customer or a valued customer I threw the box of tablets at her to repay that disrespect and like a typical yt woman she threw rocks then hid her hands and claimed she was a victim of out of the blue attack. Not true. I am well versed in the passive aggressive nature of non-Indigenous Australian women. I’m sure she’s patting herself in the back as she retells the yarn of how a black woman attacked her at work. Also a lie. I will be going back tomorrow to get her name so I can make a formal complaint to whoever takes complaints. I am sick to death of the racism and low key bigoted behaviours of women like her and I refuse to cop it in the chin any longer. I don’t care if she doesn’t like Indigenous Australians, when she’s at work she needs to treat every customer with respect."
"The young girls working there need a crash course in customer service they were very rude and made me feel uncomfortable like I was being a burden. I just left without buying what I went to get"
"I placed an order online and it took a day and half for them to tell me they didn't have stock of one of the medications. Meanwhile I only had two days left of a vital medication they did have in stock but weren't going to fulfil it until the other one arrived. I told them to dispense it now. I rang over seven times previously trying to find out about the status as I was very concerned about running out. They did not pick up once! I heard from them after I posted this review. No words to explain a pharmacy willing to let a customer run out of vital medication except incompetent."
"Requested behind the counter eyedrops for child. Was told pharmacist will be right with me, he saw me ask to speak with him. A moment later he walks off with someone else who comes by, I continue to wait. Then someone else approaches him while he sees I'm clearly still waiting with a child and continues to have a 15 minutes discussion on hormone therapy. Assistant who witnessed this came to apologise on his behalf but he continued his discussion leaving me and child waiting. I am disgusted by the lack of professionalism and service. Not sure if he was racist or just rude!"
