"Worst Cab company in Canberra.Called up day before and operator indicated a maxi will arrive at my place. 6am, No maxi, so they send out 2 taxis. Should be ashamed."
"I called Silver Service twice on Thursday night seeking a taxi to pick me up and on both occasions no taxi turned up. Ended up having to call a real taxi company after waiting one and a half hours. I asked the taxi driver if it was a busy night and he said not at all, to the contrary.."
"My cab ride was good, the drivers do talk on the phone but it's fine. Its the customer service that is very poor. I left my phone in a cab one night and they make it impossible to get your lost property. The customer service line staff are rude and there is no willing to help, they told me the wrong business hours saying they would be open just to get me off the phone. I showed up and called and they said they were always closed when they told me other wise the day before. Very frustrating experience."
"I needed to get to the airport by 5:15. I called a SS cab at 4:06 to take me from North Canberra to the airport and I received the booking confirmation text at 4:10. Still waiting, no cab, by 4:22, so I called SS back and was told that my cab was 5 minutes away. By 4:35 still no cab and I was beginning to panic, not to mention feeling very cold after 30 minutes of standing outside waiting in overcast windy 12 degree Canberra winter. I called again and was told - 'the cab is 5 kilometres away'... So why was I told it was only 5 MINUTES away at 4:22???? And how was that cab going to get me to the airport before 5:15????? So I cancelled the SS and called an Uber, it arrived in 2 minutes and I got to the airport at 5:03. Dreadful customer service, SS cabs - not only no service but porky pie stories to cover your failures and most importantly, NO APOLOGY for the fiasco you almost caused me. I will certainly NEVER use your company again!"
