"This lady is the dodgiest dentist. Took x-rays and said I needed root canal on one tooth. Then said she couldn't do that which did not inspire confidence in her abilities. Then I asked to clean plaque and she proceeded to do that without anaesthetic. This may be normal but my gums are receded so she was grinding on root nerve. The story just got worse . She then after second visit started to tell me looking at the x ray, I "This tooth is probably decayed" and this one too and then to one on the front , "I think that one is decayed too!" This was a week after the X-ray. I would expect it to be normal to tell you on the day of x-ray. Additional "maybe" and "I think this is", after the event seems like a money grabbing afterthought at the expense of the patient/client and causes a lot of red flags! Addition to reply. So you admit to everything else? Is severing a nerve part of a normal filling? Or is this a part of the root canal process? I agreed to a temporary filling. No treatment plan was given to me post X-ray verbally or in writing. I am sure that you have concocted one on paper by now though! Do you tell all your patients that they are lying? Are you always that condescending? Just a simple uneducated, no cranial capacity and government vouchered question. 1. Did I only receive part of my mouth cleaned for plaque ? Like one third for example? 2. Was I also offered 1 of the 3(?) treatments done with anaesthetic. Did the voucher amount allow that? Or 2 maybe? I remember asking how much the voucher was worth because I was trying to work out a plan of priorities and you said nothing. Once again no supportive communication. Really you should be removed from doing voucher work. Government paid money is the same as private paid money and you should give equal respect to both. At the onset of your reply you have sought to denigrate. I will not remove this as people(potential clients) deserve to know what you think of them, especially when they are pensioners. People deserve to know that you are not honest, that you cut nerves to " help the Dental team who do the root canal after" and NOT help the client sitting in the chair. The client who said they did not want you to do that because she had a right to be referred back to the ACT Dental Health team for a second opinion. Or she had the right to go to another Dental surgery for a second opinion. One that was more honest and communicated more transparently!"
"I spent Christmas in Australia and had to see a dentist was very happy with the treatment , very friendly staff. Thanks again for your help"
"Friendly and welcoming. The services provided here are professional. I would recommend this dental practice."
"This dentist charged my family member significantly higher than other dentistry practices with no clear service excellency. After consulting other dentist practices, it was noted that the tooth removal services charged were actually outside of the standard range. Would never visit again nor recommend anyone to this practice. The first signs of a strange setting was that they didn't have a receptionist or administrative staff. The front desk was attended by the dentist herself. Druing the consult, the dentist took some x rays and proceeded to recommend that two teeth be extracted. My family member agreed to remove one at the time. The whole process from consultation, x ray and extraction took around half an hour (it was noted that the extraction was relatively simple.) The dentist did not disclose the cost of extraction at that point in time. She ended up charging $500 for one tooth removal. And quoted $590 for the 2nd tooth removal. This is significantmy more expensive than other practices around Canberra. My family member ended up going to another dentist who removed the 2nd tooth for $210. There has been no complications or issues with either of the removal process."
