"The service was good. The food was far too spicy to the point where I couldn't eat it. The manager knew it was too spicy for me but didn't offer to take it back to alter the spice. It also had more bones then meat and for the price point of $30-$35 for a main meal, you expect a lot more. Generous sizing. The saag was very nice."
"The service was really good and the atmosphere is quite formal but still lovely for an intimate dinner. Serving sizes were quite large which is nice. However, I've travelled throughout India and dined at several Indian restaurants over the years and found that the spice level wasn't very high. It was very much a white person level of spice, which in turn didn't make it too flavourful. It would be good in the future if they offered options for people to choose what level of spice they'd like for their food, rather than just serving the same toned-down spice level to each person. With the lack of spicyness I found the food to be overly quite bland, but if you're a white person who's adverse to heat in your food then this is the place for you."
"It is an Indian restaurant with a good ambience. The service was good and the staff was friendly. We ordered a three cocktails and mango lassi in the drinks. The cocktails were really good and refreshing. The mango lassi was good too. Ordered the Koldil Lagot Kukura as an entree whiich is an Assamese chicken delicacy. It was well cooked and flavoursome. Although I have not previously tasted this dish, it was good. For the mains, we ordred kerala porotta, biriyani and homestyle dal meat. The malabar porotta was disappointing. It was not a malabar porotta or the Kerala porotta you authentically get. It did not taste great either. The biriyani was okay. The rice was well cooked but the meat could have had a little bit more flavour. The raita along with the biriyani was perfect. Really refreshing and delicious. The homestyle dal meat was okay too. Felt there was a bit too much masala in it."
"Wonderful independent Indian restaurant in Curtain. Seasonal menu curated by family of chefs. Veg and non-veg options. For some reason the landlord is crazy enough to close the lease so go before they have to move to new location at Gold Creek village."
"I loved the restaurant the moment I walked it. The menu was so unique as it's updated every month or so. Had the biryani and a lamb curry, was absolutely amazing! I'd say it's worth the money, would 100% visit again. Also, Loved the hospitality and the chef."
