"Last night, my group of seven had the pleasure of dining at Kiin Restaurant in Adelaide, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We were excited to explore modern Thai food, and Kiin did not disappoint with their 'Kit Waa' sharing menu. The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a warm and inviting ambience that set the tone for the evening. The restaurant's design featured a mix of woodgrain and neutral tones, making us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the night. The sharing menu showcased a delightful array of flavors and textures. The prawn and lychee pop stick with chilli sugar-salt was a delightful starter, offering a perfect balance of sweetness and spiciness. The red curry cheeseburger with crispy onion was a unique twist that had us savouring every bite. We were impressed with the stir-fried rice cakes with ‘pad prik king’ and accompanied by the delightful crunch of pork crackle. The mushroom 'laab' with lime and mint a delightful blend of earthy mushrooms and zesty citrus notes. The mandarin 'som tum' with heirloom tomatoes and peanuts was a refreshing palate cleanser that we couldn't get enough of. The charred chicken maryland in green curry was tender and full of aromatic spices. To end on a sweet note, we indulged in a refreshing Thai-style panna cotta, a delightful fusion that left our taste buds dancing. Apart from the mouthwatering food, the extensive selection of beverages allowed all to enjoy both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options to quench our thirst (handy with a few of the dishes leaving a little tingling sensation of chilli on our pallettes). The staff at Kiin Restaurant deserve a special mention. They were attentive and friendly, making us feel well taken care of throughout the evening. If you're looking for a unique and memorable dining experience, Kiin is the place to go. We will definitely be returning to explore more of their culinary delights. Highly recommended! Thank you to the team at Kiin, for a wonderful evening filled with delectable food and warm hospitality. We look forward to our next visit."
"Food was exceptional along with attentive, friendly staff. Had the feed me option which was the perfect amount of food. The salad and dessert were a highlight. They also do very good cocktails."
"Not often I land on a new venue that just gets it all right straightaway. But this was one. From the service and attention to detail to importantly the elite standard of the food, this was an absolute treat. Can’t wait to return. You could have 25 cheeseburgers and that would suffice."
"Most of the dishes are too salty. The mushroom dish can't really be eaten at all, and I can't taste anything else other than salt. But the beef turned out nice at the end. It saves the overall rating back to 3 stars. But it is not the standard I would expect for a restaurant at this price."
