"We dined here on a Thursday night recently. We were first in but the restaurant soon filled up. I was most impressed by the efficiency of the kitchen who were able to get food to tables quickly. The wait staff were all most efficient, courteous and attentive. I ordered the crab linguine with extra chilli. Delicious. My husband ordered the NZ salmon fillet on rice and yogurt. He found the yogurt flavour overpowering. We also ordered sides of potatoes and vegetables. At $18 each for sides, we thought that was a little over priced. Yes it's fine dining."
"Fantastic fresh and local food. The staff were so polite. They were attentive and engaging. The host, Peter, was a true professional. A great experience and will undoubtedly return. Highly recommended."
"What a wonderful restaurant. We shared a series of small plates and then one main. Can highly recommend the taramar dip and pita, grilled calamari, grilled prawns, king fish and the lamb neck. And desserts oh wow. The walnut cake is a must and the baklava was a close second. Coffee was fantastic and wine was delightful. Overall great time out."
"Fantastic dining experience. The steak was cooked as requested. Service was prompt & efficient. The chowder was also ordered and was delicious with a good helping of seafood & bread. Their wine list and beverage choice is quite extensive. The menu is concise, with a few options in each area. A smart move with a few things done well. The only criticism is the chips didn't seem to gel with the atmosphere of the restaurant. I feel a better pairing would of been with a potato bake. Other than that, it was a great dining experience. It was busy for a Monday night, so I would suggest bookings for a fri/Sat night. Highly recommend for a night out. I doubt you will be disappointed."
"The seafood chowder was fantastic. I give 5 stars for this dish. It’s creamy and flavorful. The bread was crispy outside and soft inside. The seafood were well seasoned, tender and fresh. The steak was well seasoned and really tender. I don’t usually eat steak but I love this steak. The only thing I’ll suggest is to add some greens with the steak. That’s why I give overall 4 stars."
