"The prince Albert hotel . Wow you definitely impressed me. This gorgeous gem hiding in the back street off Gouger Street on Wright Street. Certainly served me and my colleagues with the most beautiful service. The food was amazing there cocktails list was a delight The wine list was filled with beautiful reds and whites, I will also be back to taste the amazing range of beer that I saw on tap ...when its sunny. The guy behind the bar Darren , lit the wood fire in the bar Where we relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful vibes and ambience this gem has to offer."
"This is a cool little pub that is a shining light at night down the darkened end of Wright Street. Lovely decor and a friendly and fun atmosphere, the food though... hmm. How do you dress up boring menu items? You give the food fancy descriptions. My "Japanese" chicken katsu sandwich with yuzu mayo and shredded cabbage was, in fact, a chicken schnitzel with garlic aoli and coleslaw, between two pieces of toast. The chips (and schnitzel) had that weird burned oil(?) - slightly fishy taste. The prices are eye watering, and my bill for this "Asian" food catastrophe, $30 bucks! Good for a drink, avoid the food."
"We chose the Southern Chicken Burger and the Fish (flathead) and chips and both meals were nice. The chips were hot and both meals were presented well. Staff were friendly. There was a table of 6 extremely loud people at the table next to us and it totally spoiled our evening."
