Welcome to UniSA Karate Adelaide! Located in the heart of Adelaide on North Terrace, our establishment is a point of interest for all martial arts enthusiasts. As an affiliated club of the International Karate Gojukai Association (IKGA), we offer a unique opportunity for individuals of all skill levels to join our community.
At UniSA Karate Club, we pride ourselves on being inclusive and welcoming to everyone. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics or have previous martial arts experience, our doors are open to you. Our membership is not limited to UniSA students, staff, and alumni; we also encourage the wider community to join us on this exciting journey.
Conveniently located at UniSA City East Campus in Brookman Hall, our club offers training sessions every Monday and Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00pm. Our dedicated instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of karate, helping you develop strength, discipline, and self-defense skills.
To join our club, you must be a current Team UniSA member. UniSA students can enjoy free membership, while UniSA staff, alumni, and community members can join for a nominal fee of $25. Additionally, our club training fees are $100 per semester for UniSA students and the unemployed, and $175 per semester for UniSA staff, alumni, and community members. UniSA Sport membership is also required for the latter group.
To make it even more enticing, we offer two weeks of free training before sign-up. All you need to bring is casual sports clothes and a positive attitude. It's the perfect opportunity to get a taste of what our club has to offer before committing.

"I joined in this club more than 10 years ago when I was an international student of UniSA. The training fee of this club is very low. It's only $100/6 months for students and $200/6 months for the non-students. I used to train at a taekwondo club in Ingle Farm which was near my place. They charged me more than $600 per half year. However, I was very surprised with this club's training quality. It's much better than the taekwondo club. Sensei Horden, Andrew and Senpai Jonathan take care of each member for each single technique."
