"I just want to say this as a seventeen year old high school student. I googled acting places in Adelaide and this popped up. I read the reviews and thought hm maybe not this place, but then I still went in for the beginners classes. I came every Monday and was on time for all the classes even after a long school day. I paid almost $600 of my own money because I was dedicated in to trying acting out. I really liked the classes with Craig, he was very uplifting and friendly, same with James, the other male teacher and the singing teacher. Then there was Joey, at first I thought she was nice but she was no help at improving my acting skills and just wants to get into your head. She then decided to write me some ‘feedback’, this feedback was basically humiliating me for having anxiety. She said I am shy and timid and have no confidence. I didn’t say much because I was listening to everything Joey was ‘teaching’ me and was exhausted from school. For everyone who knows me knows that I am very outgoing and very confident in myself. And if I was timid, I wouldn’t be writing this review. Also, I go out of my way to be nice to people and that is part of my character. The weird thing is Joey gave everyone in the class positive feedback. Now we talk about Ann, she read this feedback out about me very happily and told me to stop shaking my legs. Ann, you are no psychologist, she also liked making me feel bad. Ann just wants your money. Well Ann guess what, your agency made me know my worth and your place does not deserve me."

"I can vouch for Chelsea's experience with Ann as I used to be enrolled here. My classmates were great and the teachers are all fantastic, especially Joey & Craig who inspire the students greatly and gives them the opportunity to really find their niche. Stark contrast to Ann, who is for some reason really uptight and incredibly old-fashioned. Also sensed a bit of pretentiousness. With the sheer attitude you get from her, you’d think she'd have the resume to back it up. She is tone-deaf to social situations and if you make the slightest mistake, she will most likely try to humiliate you in front of your classmates. If your child is sensitive, I wouldn’t recommend enrolling here. It’s a shame, because the other teachers themselves really want you to succeed. Save your money and don’t waste it on this sham."

"I’m writing this from my personal experience as a 14 year old girl. I was in the school holiday program and fell in love with it. There’s a lot of teachers such as, Joey, Craig, Emily those are my top 3 they teach you amazing skills. Then there’s Ann the owner. I was acepted into the school and from there I made friends with the class. We started seeing more of Ann and when we did she’d be strick, harsh and mean. I was only 11 when I started and having somone yelling at me and telling me I’m not good enough. For example there was two classes going on Thursday night and Ann wanted us to work with Craig and make somthing to show the other class. As we performed it to the other class at the end ann said she was going to do a night where your parents and friends come to show your work and she said infront if the two classes”I don’t think (name) is good enough to be appart of this and your going to not come. Class ended and I was in tears going down the stairs to my car, the whole class comforting me as I wonder if I should even be here, alive and acting wise. Ann always had somthing rude to say but I kept showing up to class but I just had enough of it. Being told to go home and read two scrips everyday pulse homwork and sports and personal time. I did as she said and she would tell me “you didn’t practice a thing” I was shocked. I moved on and continued with the class and going into groups to practice routines my classmates were impressed of how my skills wear but to Ann she still had nothing nice to say. Felt so incredibly insecure and she proceeded to call me “depressed” first I’m not gothic and I don’t know how she got that from me . I’m a nice and happy person. Learing heaps of things from sa casting but would not recommend it made me feel more insecure then I ever have been."

"SA Casting a great place to learn new skills which you may never know you have. Their classes are well organised and provide a variety of tutors from the industry . Students get to learn and earn at the same time and Ann Peters has kept the expectations clear and she puts in a lot of efforts for each of class members. Overall SA Casting is an excellent experience if you approach it with the right mindset."
