"Wow! When I say this is a 5-star restaurant I really mean it. The food, service, and decor are all really amazing and set the highest bar for Perth and for anywhere else. If you’ve never been here before I’d recommend (for a couple): 1x A5 Luxurious Kagoshima and 2x Rice. It’s plenty, and you might want an extra rice later too. If you want extras then an extra onsen egg won’t go astray because they’re good for dipping and for the rice. You can also share the Salmon Tartare and Wagyu Yukke and Tempura which are all really amazing. Pick one or two and enjoy. For dessert the soy sauce ice cream and the icy yuzu dessert (not sure if it’s exact name) are both very very good and a nice palate cleanser!!! Have a bit of both! For drinks I’d probably stay away from the house mix chu-hai (it’s fairly ordinary) and the sparkling jelly (it’s delicious but made with high fructose corn syrup). Maybe try a nice beer or sake or something else! 5/5 in all regards. Thanks to the staff for singing Happy Birthday for us too!"

"Great service and atmosphere (not stinky at all). However, food wise was very average for the price. Quality was great, but I have tasted lower pricing meats with sweeter beefy-er taste. We ordered A5 karubi plate, chicken karage, takoyaki, beef tongue (gyu-tan), scallops, chicken wings, pork belly yuzu, pork jowl salt pepper, cabbage salad ($8 outrageous!) Beer and sake was fabulous! Be prepared to fork out a lot of money for a little quantity of beef."

"This is an absolute winner in Japanese BBQ. I have been seeking high quality meats and this is where you’ll find it. This restaurant offers a wide variety of platters of various sizes and meat selections. There will definitely be something that fits your group size and tastes. We got the premium platter and it what an amazing experience to try all the different types of beef. The meat melts in your mouth, full of flavour and juiciness. The layout of the restaurant is quite spread, making it quieter and you can have a conversation easily. The service is also great here as they regularly check in to see how you’re going. The only reason this place has lost a star is because of the price. Although the meat is high quality, I think overall, it is a bit too pricey."

"came here with my partner for dinner and had a great time!! the Japanese aesthetics feel very authentic and the wagyu meat was great quality, cooking it over the charcoal gave it a beautiful flavour. I appreciated that the meat didn't spit too much oil either which can be a problem at BBQ places sometimes. some of very thinly sliced meat stuck to the grill making it hard to remove and some bits would fall down to the charcoal wasting precious expensive meat, but that would be my only nitpick. the rice was beautiful and soft, I would've liked the option to order more pumpkin, zucchini and baby corn but you only get one piece of each on the platter we ordered. it ended up being about $80pp, which I was happy to pay since the experience was very good."

"One of, if not the best authentic Japanese BBQ restaurant in Perth. There's no 'All you can eat' option but the selection of sets is amazing and not overly expensive either. Food options were extensive with a lot of meat/seafood and vegetarian options. Very wide range of Japanese drinks as well. Very big recommend."
