"Been a while since visited last. Some.updates to the menu offering. Had the following: Yung Tao Fu Laksa- good rich laksa broth with chilli kick. Nice fresh young tao fu. Braised Pork Hock Rice- lots of sliced braised pork with lots of vegetables on steamed rice drizzled with the gravy from the braised.pork. Something different, tasty and will have it again. Char Tao Kuey- n9cely fried.with aromatics, has wok hey as there was sufficient crusty bits and chu you char through the dish to give it a very authentic flavour! The food here is good. Love the fact that the chef comes up with menu offerings that are different from all the other eateries. This is reflected by how full the restaurant is almost all the time. Only thing is because it gets very full it does get very stuffy inside. Even having the min door open to let there be airflow could make a big difference. Overall a very positive experience and will come. back again for sure."
"Finally got to try this place. We ordered the special yong tau fu laksa and assam pedas fish. Also tried the roast chicken rice. All the dishes were ok tasting, nothing special tbh. The flavour was somewhat there. I also wish they use pineapple in the assam pedas fish. I’ve definitely had a better malaysian dishes in other place. Maybe I didn’t pick their best dishes? Anyway, place also felt a bit under maintained. When I went to get the cutleries I can see some dirty bits. The children cutleries were pretty sad looking too, lots of chewed ends. I had to wipe down everything before using. Service was also not warm / friendly. I mean they didn’t do anything wrong, but could be a bit more welcoming and not as mechanical. I will return to try their claypot rice, to see what the fuss is about. But I definitely think the place has a lot of room for improvement."
"It's a simple setup like most small Asian Chinese restaurants, but it's clean and organised. The service staff are very polite and the Crispy Chicken rice is my favourite dish there. I would highly recommend it, and lok bak is pretty good too. The pricing is very reasonable."
"Great neighbourhood restaurant with affordable prices and tasty dishes. Highly recommended making a booking if you're dining in as there is a continuous stream of customers. Can recommend the Golden Cube Beancurd Asam Pedas Fish (so good!) and Belecan Fried Chicken. Claypot Salted Fish Pork belly wasn't bad either ... would recommend you order these dishes with rice instead of the main size as servings are quite generous."
"This restaurant has a reputation for offering a diverse array of scrumptious dishes that are made using top-notch ingredients. The food is delicious and authentic, doesn't cost a bomb but it is a small restaurant. The place is sure worth a try!"
