"Loved the train rides, as did my nephew. Bit of a line, but you could go as many times as you want for $20 if you didn't mind a bit of a wait (not too long, though). The only downside I found is that the surrounding park was filled with unrestrained dogs (never seen so many in my life), even though there was a fenced off area specifically for them. The children's jungle Jim was great except for the portion that needed repairs and even though it had been fenced off some children had pulled down the barrier and started using it and it was very hard explaining to a 2 1/2 year old that it was unsafe & he couldn't go in that section."
"Wonderful day out, ride as many times as you like just join the queue again. Volunteers were very professional and friendly and everything felt very safe. Train mad 2 year old loved it."
"Haven’t been there for a Long time, but it is still fantastic to see it’s still running. Had the best time riding these cute trains. Staff are Amazing, Warm & Friendly. Great facilities for a picnic or Family event. Highly recommended."
"Visited on a summer day for a 4yo bday party and had a great time. There are expansive park areas to run around, shaded bbq areas, the creek to explore (or kayak through) and of course the train ride. Went on two rides and adults and kids loved the experience. Definitely coming back again and hope to hire some kayaks next time."
"This is a fun place to bring the family. $6,$3 adults/kids. Make sure you check the times (see photo) as the boarding station alternates between Kent st Weir and Castledare (off Fern Rd) The Kent St Weir location has the added benefits of excellent facilites for a day out - free BBQs, some shaded tables, kids playground, a cafe, toilets, river access and walking tracks"
