About the Business
Welcome to Scout Recycling Centre, located in Magill, Australia. As a car repair establishment, point of interest, and store, we offer a unique service that allows you to convert your cans, bottles, and scrap metal into cash.
At Scout Recycling Centre Magill, we accept all deposit containers, including cans and bottles that attract a 10c deposit. You can bring them to us, and we will count and pay you on the spot. In addition, we also accept wine bottles and some other non-deposit bottles and cans, such as washed milk cartons.
To make the recycling process easier, we kindly ask you to remove the screw caps from the bottles before bringing them to us. This small step helps us keep these items out of landfills, contributing to a more sustainable environment.
Our dedicated team at Scout Recycling Centre Magill is not only focused on counting your bottles and cans for refunds, but also on processing various other items. We handle cans, bottles, old cars, non-ferrous and ferrous metals, as well as small and large household appliances. We ensure that these items are prepared for transportation to recycling plants, where they will undergo further processing.
By choosing Scout Recycling Centre Magill, you are not only earning cash for your recyclables but also actively participating in the preservation of our planet. Reviews
"One staff member is very rude and reckless. Asked me to park my car in a very unsafe way and was rude enough to insist on it."
"Always had excellent, efficient & friendly service over the years. Young chap even helped change our 4WD Mickey Thompson tyre when we limped in to the servo next door with a puncture. What a generous gentleman!"
"First time I have been to a recycling place and I was pleasantly surprised. It's all a bit of a production line but $33 bucks later it was all good and painless"
"Very organised, workers are so fast, don't wait too long to be serve, pleasant staff"
"Put a lot of effort in to establish a recycling system at my place of work only to be told I had "too many" cans and bottles and shouldnt have returned them here to this depot. Rude long haired lout shouldnt have a job, since when is there such a thing as recycling too much?? It doesnt matter if 1 car is full to the brim or 5 cars are one fifth full, you still have to count the same amount in the end buddy."
