"I had a great experience learning at this school. Lots of lovely people and excellent experiences!"
"I first heard about this school through a advertisement by the schools' principal, Mr Bacholer, offering tours. Upon entering, I noticed the abhorrent sight of brown shoes on the senior school students. It wasn't long before I then was met with a familiar smell of strawberry and grape e-cigarettes when I entered the "C4SL", which was also covered in litter. I eventually enrolled my son, who is in Grade 10 to the school and already on the first day I heard complaints from him that he was repeatedly talked down to from teachers and laughed at by peers for being in the less advanced math class. A few weeks later he was asked to leave by the "Head of Senior school", as they deemed our harassment complaints to be false. If you have the slightest interest in sending your child to this detestable profit-machine, I would consider you seriously reassess your preferences."
"The school discriminated against my son with Autism + ADHD. Within weeks of us receiving his diagnosis they attempted to expel him (barely 6 years old) for not sitting still after school. This was after 2.5 years of our boy attending ELC/Reception. They isolated him from extracurricular activities (sport) saying they 'couldn't spare the resources'. Then near the end of the year, a staff member lost their temper and left bruises on his arm and leg, and pinned him to the floor of a music room. The principal, Cameron Bachelor, argued this was fair because he'd damaged school property by tearing a poster off the wall. They got away with it because the person is an SSO and not a teacher. That person still works at the school."
"Our rowing coach is a wonderful person with a big heart and would never harm us physically or verbally the rumours about shouting at us are not. True I’m a pulteney rower and have not had any of these bad experiences. Xoxoxoxoxoxox"
"this school is absolutely disgraceful. i just witnessed a kid who looked around 14-15 get absolutely abused by one of the “coaches” at the city south tram stop. she yelled at him to shut up and also swore at him about 4 times. The coach was short and had short blonde hair with a “1997” tattoo on the back of her heel with flames above it. As a coach of a school, this is no way to speak to a child or person in that matter. i don’t want to begin to imagine how your teachers are treating kids inside of school let alone outside. absolutely disgusting."
