"I am an alumni of AIB, having completed my MBA - Finance in 2016. I would give AIB a high distinction based on my experience. I commenced the program which was 12 subjects that in theory could be completed each month. I found this possible even with a full time work commitment however at times I did stretch a subject over a longer period to accommodate work and life commitments. One thing that was very unique about my learning journey was I moved with my work to Scotland, UK after just 6 completed subjects. This created some challenges as my wife and I had also on recently welcomed our 2nd child 3 months earlier, and now had 2 children under 3, moved across the other side of the world and completing higher studies. AIB were open to these changes and allowed a temporary 2 month pause. I then had the challenge of finding a place where my exams could be completed, which had to comply with Australian regulations. I was able to complete monthly exams at a large law firm however had to travel from my home in Glasgow to Edinburgh (2 hour journey) at 6am to ensure I made it in time to commence the exam at the same equivalent time as Australia were completing it. It was definitely very challenging but I felt supported by AIB and the law firm and all in all, produced a good grade average. I recommend AIB and its courses to anyone. Just be prepared for the reasonably high cost of textbooks and lack of secondary sales market due to regular version changes"
"I have just recently graduated from the MBA program through AIB. As I was researching where to take my MBA, AIB kept floating to the top, specifically with their CX. I reached out via a link in Instagram and thereby started my journey. The experience was challenging, yet enlightening and I can now look back and say that I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The faculty and support from AIB was greater than expected. If you're thinking about an MBA program, put AIB to the top of your list!"
"My Masters degree made a difference to my career almost immediately. I was given project and speaker opportunities and consulted on systems and processes which enabled me to apply my AIB learnings in a work environment. After A COVID related redundancy - I believe it was my Masters that made me stand out from the crowd and helped me secure my amazing current role. The biggest gift was my study cohort who I am still in touch with. I loved my experience - although it was in the 'olden days' of AIB with 3 hour handwritten exams in an exam center which I hated but still managed a Distinction GPA!"
"AIB has been an amazing experience. I am now 1/3 through the journey to my MBA and while it has been difficult at times to navigate full time work and kids the reward has been tremendous! If you are after a fully flexible an supportive learning environment that gives you access to industry experts and peers from all different sector with different experiences this is the MBA for you! I cannot fault AIB, would and I have recommended friends and family to join AIB and start their MBA journey."
"I completed my MBA through AIB at the most challenging time of the new normal, where we all are indoors due to COVID. It was a difficult and stressful time as it was all virtual. Considering a few options, I chose AIB and was extremely satisfied with my time at school after 19 years. The quality of the online learning facilitators, the academic support teams, the librarian, and the coordinators, you name it all, are well disciplined and focused on students' success. The program is very well structured compared to other universities where a few of my colleagues used it, and it is commendable. Consider it your first online learning option, and you will be happy. It is incredible with the fantastic team at AIB."
