"went into the store today and the white employee on staff declined to offer my mother, who is asian, a shopping basket, but did immediately moved to provide baskets for other white customers. My mother frequents this branch and was browsing with the intention to buy, and she was in the store for a good long time, certainly long enough for a staff member to offer a basket. the same employee also failed to offer a basket to another girl who happened to come in and appeared to be of african descent. my mother also stated she was very obviously being avoided. i have been going to this store since i was in high school, and i am certain it is part of the staff policy to offer baskets to customers as soon as they enter, even if they appear to just be browsing, so what happened here."
